What catering costs per person, and how to get it approved.
Your director wants a number before they will sign off. Here is what catering costs per person with us, from a morning tea to a full training day, and the quickest way to turn it into a quote someone can approve.

What each figure is made of
These are the items behind the numbers above, at standard and generous serves. Swap in anything else from the menu and the same sum applies: price per person, times people, plus delivery.

Three things that change the total
Serve size
A generous serve costs about half as much again as a standard one. Nine in ten of our morning tea assortment orders choose standard, and it suits a normal meeting. Go generous when the day runs long or people arrive hungry.
Delivery
Your delivery date and address set the delivery charge. Enter both before you save a quote or place the order, and the total on your quote is a real one.
Dietary items
Choose dietary items from our lists rather than asking for changes in a note. They are priced on the menu, so they are in the total from the start.
Divide the budget by the number of people. Our baguettes and wraps platter is $12.30 a head at a standard serve, so if your budget per person is well under that, a morning tea is the realistic option. It is better to know that before the quote goes up the line than after.
From a number to an approved order
You don’t need to email us and wait for a quote. You can raise one yourself, with a reference number on it, in about four minutes.
Build the order
Choose your items for the headcount, then add the delivery date and address so delivery is in the total.
Save it as a quote
Below the Place order button, save it as a quote. Change the email address if it needs to go straight to your approver.
Accept when approved
Your quotes live in My Account, under Quotes. Choosing how to pay turns the quote into a confirmed order, at the quoted price.
Pay the way finance prefers
Pay by card, or choose Pay Later and we email an invoice you can pay by card or EFT.
Got a PO number?
Put it in the P.O. number or reference box at checkout and it prints on your invoice. A meeting name works too, so finance can match the bill to the event.
Ordering regularly?
Talk to us about payment terms for your organisation, and about one combined bill in place of an invoice for every order.

How rebates workSix ways to stretch it
- 1Stay with standard serves. They suit a normal meeting; generous costs about half as much again.
- 2Consider morning tea instead of lunch. About $15.43 a person against $18.53 for lunch.
- 3Share the fruit. One fruit platter suits up to 15 people, so it adds only about $6.23 a head.
- 4Skip the afternoon tea for sessions that finish early. It is the easiest break to drop.
- 5Order dietary items only for the people who need them. Everyone else can share the platters.
- 6Keep each delivery at $50 or more. In our Parramatta area, smaller orders carry a higher delivery charge.

About the numbers. Prices on this page are read from our menu each time the page is built, and include GST. Per-person figures use standard serves and one fruit platter for every 15 people. Delivery is extra and depends on your date and address. The share of standard serves comes from our orders placed between October 2025 and September 2026.
